Budget Cuts Rally

People!

This is yet another big week for us. Tomorrow (Monday) we will be meeting in room 313 to discuss plans for our budget cut displays and speak out taking place October 1st. If you know anyone affected by the cuts, and they might want to speak out against them, let us know! The meeting tomorrow is going to be all about that.

Then on Thursday, as most of you know, is the big rally and UC-wide walk-out at Cal. We will be meeting at 11:30am (sharp!) in front of BCC, then walking up to Sproul Plaza on campus. If you have a red "no cuts to education shirt", sport it! If you don't, buy one for only $5 on Thursday so we can properly represent. I understand many of you may have classes, if you can try to explain to your teachers the importance of this event and missing some/all of class. Sometimes we have to make sacrifices in order for real change to happen, I know you all understand.

There should be flyers around for this all week, tell the people in your classes, friends, family, EVERYONE! Let's make this a big deal. This is our time to fight back!
